Ag Day: Table Centrepiece Inspirations

This Friday we are completing the last of our school tasks: Our Table Centrepieces (don't worry - there are no tasks to be completed at home!).

Please remember to send your child to school with a glass jar (or appropriate container or oasis) along with materials that they can use to create a table centrepiece e.g. floral arrangement with.

It would be greatly appreciated, if you have access to flowers/foliage to spare, if you could send extra to school (in a separate plastic bag marked "SPARE") to help provide for those that may not have these available in their own home gardens.

Please see below for some inspirational, rural-themed ideas that we've found and take time to discuss with your child what they may like to do.

We thank you for all your support and look forward to seeing you this Saturday at Ag Day!

Junior Production Wrap Up!

Last week our Year 3s were out and about filming, ON LOCATION, for their Once Upon a Rhyme Movie Production.  We had some lovely days and it was a great experience all.

We would like to take this chance to say a BIG thank you to all those parents who came along and helped supervise, and to all parents for getting those little extras for costumes sorted for us.  It was much appreciated, especially to see them all come in so quickly.

We look forward to watching the final product in week 8 at our Performance Evening!

Thanks to Matt Young for the photos below.

WALT Collaborate - Homeroom 25 Presentations

We have been learning about how to collaborate... take a look at our collaborative presentations about how to collaborate!

Some groups found it a struggle putting what they had been learning into practice and when we shared these with the class, it was really good to discuss what problems we encountered and why... and how they affected their final presentations.   Some are not perfect but there was so much learning involved in how to work together well so... Ka mau te wehi Homeroom 25 - Awesome efforts and developing learning: being a good collaborator is something that takes a lot of practice and time!

Please note that a couple of group's presentations are awaiting to be uploaded and will be added ASAP!
